Garrison Keillor and his Radio Rangers

All Ages
Garrison Keillor brings his "Radio Rangers" to the Crooners MainStage for a night of Honky Tonk.

"When I was eight, my dad took me to the State Fair and gave me three dollars and told me to go have a good time and meet him at the Horticulture Building at six o'clock and I have been more or less independent ever since then. I remember that Fair of 1950 and I'm going to do a show in its memory and if the Fair wants, I'd be happy to do it again next year at the Grandstand."

" The Harlem Revue on the Midway, Cedric Adams, the 4-H Talent show, the livestock barns, the double Ferris wheel, the Olde Mill, sweet corn, the Pioneer building, all very engaging, but the real draw of the Fair was being in a dense crowd of fellow Minnesotans. A river of humanity and a little boy with glasses walking through it, clutching three dollars."
